Cameroon
and Barcelona star Smauel Eto'o admitted that his side
had no chance versus the ture champions Egypt. He described
the Egyptian side as the best side in the tournament
so far.
Speaking on Cameroon's opening match against
Egypt, Eto'o said:
"We were absolutely destroyed by
true champions,"
"In the first half we were slow and apprehensive.
We let ourselves down and we let the Cameroon nation
down.
"Egypt are one of the favourites and I was very
impressed by them, they are a very good side.
"I think that they are the best team I have seen
so far, but I was also impressed by the Ivory Coast.
Regarding Cameroon next two matches, he added:

"I know that we will be back in the next game, but we
have to start playing better if we don't want to leave the
tournament early.
"We still have another chance, if we can win the next
game then we will be right back into the groove."
It should be noted that Egypt will take on Sudan
tonight in the 2nd match of the group and a win will mean
qualification to the quarter finals.
