47th min Diamance amara managed to take the ball past Abdel
Wahab but Gomaa made a great sliding tackle.
48th min. Feye shot low from outside the box but Siad blocked
his shot.
49th min. BAAKAT HIT THE BAR! Mido l;aid the ball to him
just outside the box, he tried to swing the ball into the
top corner in a similar fashion to his goal in the African
Champions League final but the bar denied him.
51st min. NIANG EQUALIZED FOR SENEGAL! A cross from the right
wing was delivered high into the box, Niang managed to beat
El Saka for the ball and placed it superbly into the net with
his head.
53rd min. Abdel Wahab crossed from left to Mido in the area
but his header went over.
57th min. Freekick for Senegal in a dangerous position after
a foul by Gomaa. Mendy crossed to the far post to find Diop
who got a free header but he hit it over the bar.
61st min. Superb pass from Hassan to Baakat behind the defense
but Sylva came out of his goal and sent it for a corner.
62nd min. The corner kick was played short to Abdel Wahab
who cut into the middle and tried a low shot but it went just
wide.
64th min. hrough pass to Barakat behind the defense, he crossed
to Mido but the latter couldn't head comfortabley and his
attempt went way over.
65th min. Diouf in, Henry Camara out.
67th min. Freekick for Diouf after aerial challenge with
Gomaa. After some confusion in the Egyptian defense, the ball
went for a corner by Gomaa. The ball was flicked on on the
near post and almost got in but Abdel Wahab headed it away
off the line!!!
72nd min. Low pass to Shwky but the Senegalese defense had
a reckless chanllenge on him. The referee gave Egypt a acorner
kick instead of the freekick and Sylva managed to collect
the ball confidently in the air.
74th min. Good cross from Abdel Wahab into the area, but
neither Moteb nor Mido was able to head the ball!
76th min. Great touch from Mido to Barakat but he blasted
the ball over!
79th min. Mido out, Zaki in, Mido went angry and had a verbal
argument with Shehata!! Not the best behaviour from Mido in
this tough moment for EGYPT!!!
80th min. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL FOR EGYPT!
A low pass to Abotreka in the left wing, he crossed to Amr
Zaki and the latter connected with a powerful header into
the back of the net. 2-1 for EGYTPT! Hope back again!!
83rd min. Moteb found himself in the clear behind the defense,
he had only Sylva to beat but he lost it to a defensder and
the goalkeeper collected it easily.
84th min. Solimane Camara in, Mndy out.
85th min. 86th min. Low pass to Ahmed Hssan in the right
wing, he tried a low cross to Zaki who was under immense pressure
from defense but managed to get a touch and the ball went
just wide.
87th mi.n Superb one-two between Zaki and Abotreka, Zaki
got it behind defense but his shot went wide.
87th min. Issa Pa in, Omar Daf out.
88th min. A cross from the right wing was met by Hassan who
laid it to Moteb who tried a direct shot from close range
but hi shot went just over. '
89th min. The referee was merciful with Egypt as he didn't
count a penalty kick after a strange naive tackle from Said
inside the box!!
90+! Moteb got tackled just outside the box and Egypt won
a freekick but it went straight into the arms of Sylva.
90+2 Freekick for Senegal in a dangerous position.
90+2 Moteb out, Hossam Hassan in.
90+3 Issa PA ht the ball directly from inside the box at
goal
