EGYPT: Hadari, Ibrahim Said, El Saka, Gomaa, Barakat, Abdel Wahab, Shawky, Ahmed Hassan, Abo Treka, Mido and Amr Zaki

2nd min. Ahmed Saed (Libya) advanced with t5he ball and tried a shot from the edge of the box but the Egyptian defense did well to block him.

3rd min. Abdel Wahab crossed from left to Mido in the area but the ball was cleared at the expense of a corner.

4th min. Hassan chipped the ball to Barakat in the right wing and the latter crossed it into the near post but the defense sent the ball behind for a corner.

7th min. Hassan sent a low cross to Mido in the area but the pass was intercepted before reaching him.

8th min. Barakat crossed the ball from the right wing but the ball was headed behind for a corner.

13th min. Zaki laid the ball to El Saka on the edge of the box and the latter powered a shot at goal but it was parried away by the Libyan goalkeeper.

17th min. MIDO GAVE EGYPT THE LEAD! A corner kick from the right wing was swung into the far post by Abdel Wahab to find Mido who jumped high to meet the ball and headed it home to give Egypt the lead.

20th min. Mido made an excellent flick on with his head to Zaki who was brought down by Libya's last man just outside the box. The referee awarded Egypt a freekick but he didn't even book Libya's defender!

22nd min. ABOTREKA SCPRED THE 2ND FOR EGYPT FROM THE FREEKICK! Abotreka managed to hit the target from the freekick as he hit the ball to beat the wall and end its path into the top corner.

25th min. Through pass to Abotreka but the linesman had his flag up there for offside, the Egyptian was clearly onside though.

26th min. Freekick for Libya in a good position. Wael Gomaa was booked as he moved before the referee's whistle.

27th min. Shabani hit the freekick and it went just over the crossbar, a real danger for Egypt.

28th min. Zaki made a good ru from the right wing, he crossed the ball low to the oncoming Abotreka but the defense intercepted the cross.

30th min. Zaki got the ball in a good position in the right side of the area, he tried a low cross to Mido but the cross was intercepted once again by defense.

33rd min. The ball reached Daowd in the right side of the box, he struck the ball on the volley at goal but El Hadary turned his shot away for a corner.

37th min. Abotreka won a freekick in a good position for Egypt. Daowd was booked for the challenge on the Egyptian forward.

38th min. Abdel Wahab shot the freekick stragiht at goal but the keeper saved it after a 2nd attempt.

40th min. Hassan tried a surprising shot from the edge of the box, the goalkeeper parried it and it bounced back to Egypt butit reached the goalkeeper again.

42nd min. Yellow card for Makhlouf after a handball.

45th min. Mido flicked the ball on to Barakat in the right wing, he crossed it into the box and it reached Zaki in the left side of the box, he tried to squeeze a shot but it was blocked by defense.

45+1 the TERRIBLE referee's assistant had his flag up there to prevent Zaki from getting into one on one situation with the keeper!! He was DEFINITELY onside.
