With the start of the 2nd half, the chances remained very
few as both Egypt and Qatar couldn't get any clear chances.
However, in the 59th minute, Egypt took the lead after a
fine srtiker from Abo Treka. The goal came through a quick
pass to Emad Moteb behind the defense. The latter controlled
the ball well and laid it to the oncoming Abo Treka who fired
a shot directly into the back of the net.
In the 66th minute, the Pharaohs managed to double their
lead thanks to a brilliant assist from Emad Moteb who put
Osama Hosny face to face with the keeper and Hosny made no
mistake as he sent the ball into the back of the net through
the goalkeeper's legs.
In the 70th minute, Emad Moteb shined again as he sent a
terrific through poass to Osama Hosny who faced the keeper
and tried to place the ball beyond him but the ball came off
his body and fell to Amr Zaki who made no mistake and scored
directly with noi hesitation to make it 3-0 for Egypt.
In the 84th inute, Abo Treka made use of a naive defensive
error as he intercepted a pass, rounded the keeper and scored.
In the 88th minute, Osama Hosny powered a header at goal,
a defender tried to clear the ball off the line but it fell
to Amr Zaki who tapped it in with ease to make it 5-0 for
Egypt.
In the 90th minute, the referee blew the final whistle. Egypt
will play the final match against UAE on Sunday.
