First half:

4th min. Through pass to Abo Treka who managed to trick his marker but his final shot went over the crossbar.

7th min. Ahmed Fathi had an effort on goal with his left from outside the area but he missed the target.

13th min. Nader did well to stop a low shot aimed at him from the edge of the area.

14th min. Through pass into Egypt's area, Beshir El Tabei did well to block the way of the attacker and won a goal kick in the end.

18th min. Ahmed Hassan tried a shot from the edge of the area but the Kuwait keeper managed to save it.

20h min. Ahmed Hassan gave the ball away in midfield which Kuwait the chance to get a dangerous counter attacking move, the Kuwait forward became one on one with Nader but the latter did superbly well to block his shot.

23rd min. Freekick for Egypt, Abd Raboh struck it directly at goal but Kuwait keeper punched it clear.

24th min. The referee disallowed a goal for Egypt, the ball was played high into the left side of the area where Abdel Halim Ali laid it on the volley to Abd Raboh who headed it home. However, the match referee disallowed the goal as the ball already crossed the line when Abdel Halim laid it to Abd Raboh.

27th min. Barakat tried a shot from the edge of the area but the keeper managed to save it.

30th min. Harsh foul on Hosny Abd Raboh by Kuwait's no. 17. The referee showed the player a RED CARD!

36th min. Ahmed Hassan got the ball in the left side of the area and had only the keeper to beat but the keeper managed to clear the ball away.

40th min. Corner kick for Egypt, Shawky went for the header but he missed the target.

42nd min. Through pass to Abdel Halim Ali who took it past the keeper but was blocked by defense.

44th min. Ahmed Fathi sent an accurate cross into the six yards box to find Ahmed Hassan whop blazed it way over the bar.

45+2 Ahmed Hassan did well to lay the ball to Shawky at the edge of the box but the shot from Shawky was blocked by defense.

45+4 Abo Treka fired a shot from outside the area but it was denied by the goalkeeper.

45+4 Egypt won a freekick but Beshir sent it well over.

45+5 Ahmed Hassan advanced with the ball and struck it low at goal but again it was denied by the excelling keeper.
