Luck turned its face away from the Pharaohs in tonight's ACN clash with Algeria. Two chances meant two goals for the opponents while the excelling Pharaohs failed to convert any of the numerous chances they created and even conceded the late winner to the ten men Algerians.

1st min. WHAT A PAINFUL MISS FROM AHMED HASSAN! A well executed left wing cross from El Sayed was met by Ahmed Hassan's head but the ball went just wide.

5th min. Long ball to Mido outside Algeria's area but the referee whistled for a foul by Mido.

7th min. Freekick in a good position for Egypt for a foul on Bilal. The dangerous situation ended with a goalkick for Algeria after a poor Egyptian cross.

10th min. Through pass from Hassan to Bilal but the defense cleared the situation.

11th min. Freekick in dangerous position for Algeria. It was blocked for a corner though.

12th min. GOAL FOR ALGERIA. Moammar Mamouni headed the ball home from the corner kick to give Algeria the lead.

13th min. Yellow card for Mido after a falling theatrically on the ground.

15th min. Nader did well to stop a long range shot from the Algerians.

17th min. Right wing cross from El Saka into the area but the Algerian keeper collected it safely.

18th min. Mido got the ball in the right wing, he laid it back to Hassan who tried a through ball into the area but it wasn't accurate enough and went for a goal kick.

20th min. Mido did well to lay the ball with the back of his head to Bilal in the box but the Algerian keeper dived at his feet and

21st min. INCREDIBLE MISS FROM AHMED HASSAN! The Besiktas topscorer lost his magic in front of goal and wasted a real chance for Egypt. The attack started with a left wing cross into the area, Mido and Bilal went for it but the ball reached the totally unmarked Hassan instead. He tried to bury the ball into the top corner but his attempt went wide.

23rd min. El Saka tried a direct shot from outside the area but it lacked power and the keeper collected it safely.

24th min. Tarek El Sayed attempted another long range shot but it went into orbit.

26th min. Mamouni did well to intercept a pass in midfield and advanced well into Egypt's area. However, his low cross hit the side netting.

28th min. BILAL EQUALIZED FOR EGYPT! Tarek El Sayed spotted Bilal in a good position behind the Algerian defense and made a terrific through pass to him. Bilal got in one on one situation with the keeper and chipped it superbly past him into the back of the net. 1-1 now.

29th min. Freekick for Egypt in the left wing just outside the area. It was headed clear for a throwin though.

30th min. The throw-in was played long to Mido in the area who headed it with the back of his head at goal, the ball struck the foot of the post and went wide!! ANOTHER CRUCIAL MISS!!

31st min. The Pharaohs made some nice build-up ion midfield which ended with a low strike from El Said at goal. However, the ball was cleared for a corner by defense.

33rd min. INCREDIBLE MISS AGAIN FROM AHMED HASSAN! Terrific through pass was made to Hassan in the box, he got in one on one situation with the keeper but his shot came off his body and went wide!!

35th min. Dangerous cross from the right wing into Egypt's area. No one was following and the defense managed to clear the dangerous situation.

37th min. Long range effort from El Sayed at goal but the ball missed the target by inches this time.

38th min. Tarek El Sayed did well to intercept a pass in the left flank.he managed to outpace his marker and sent a low pass to Mido on the edge of the area. L'OM striker won a freekick in this dangerous position.

39th min. Superb freekick from Bilal. His attempt hit the side netting though!

41st min. Through pass to Bilal in the right side of the area, he tried to cross it low in front of goal but the defense managed to clear the danger.

43rd min. INCREDIBLE MISSES FROM AHMED HASSAN! The Besiktas forward wasted two real goals in a fraction of minute! Two identical real goalscoring chances went begging as Hassan missed the target in both attempts!!!

45th min. End of the first half

Second half:

46th min. Good dribbling and determination from Mido in the right side of the area, he managed to take the ball past two defenders into the area but it went for a goal kick in the end.

48th min. El Saka did well to head a dangerous cross clear.

49th min. Dangerous cross from Ahmed Fathi to Mido in the area but the defense cleared the danger.

53rd min. Mido took the ball past two defenders at the edge of Algeria's area but his shot went way wide.

56th min. Superb through pass from Hassan to Bilal in the area. The latter managed to squeeze a shot at goal but the keeper parried it away for a corner.

58th min. El Sayed crossed from the left wing into the area but the defense cleared the danger.

59th min. RED CARD FOR MAMOUNI AFTER A HARSH FOUL ON HASSAN! Will the Pharaohs use the extra man to their advantage?

63rd min. Through pass to Bilal in the area, he fell inside the box and the referee booked him for the play acting!!! That should be penalty!!

65th min. EGYPT should consider bringing in an attacking midfielder like Emam or Barakat at the expense of a defender to benefit from the extra man!

68th min. Freekick for Egypt. It was headed clear by defense to find Tamer Abdel Hamid who rifled it on volley but it sailed over the bar.

71st min. Egypt made first substitution. Barakat in, Hassan out!

74th min. Corner kick for Egypt. It was headed clear though.

75th min. Barakat made a good run in the right wing and laid the ball to Fathi who crossed it into the area to find Bilal. The latter headed it straight into the arms of the goalkeeper.

77th min. Another Egyptian substitution. Khashaba in, El Saka out.

79th min. Barakat managed to dribble into Algerian area but Mansousi made a crucial intervention and cleared the danger.

80th min. MIDO ONLY MISSED IT BY INCHES! After a series of good passing from the Egyptians, the ball was crossed to Mido from the right wing and he sent his header to the top corner but it missed the target by inches.

83rd min. Another late substitution for Egypt! Emam in, Tarek Said out.

84th min. Haddo Moulai made a superb tackle to block Barakat while he was few yards away from the target.

85th min. Bilal did well to dribble into the left side of the area. However, his cross missed Mido.

86th min. GOAL FOR ALGERIA! Incredible solo effort from Hussein who dribbled till the edge of the area and sent the ball past Nader. 1-2 now!!!

89th min. Mido got the ball in the left side of the area and tried a low cross to Bilal but it was cleared for a corner.
