First half:

1st min. Abdel Halim ran into the left wing but the ball went for a goalkick.

2nd min. Abd Raboh tried to squeeze a shot at goal from outside the area but it went harmlessly wide.

3rd min. El Saka made a good tackle and ran with the ball, he sent a low pass in midfield to Ali and the latter was fouled. Egypt won a freekick but it came to nothing.

5th min. Long ball to Drogba, El Tabi managed to slide the ball away for a throw-in before him.

7th min. Dangerous cross into Cote D'Ivoire's area from the left wing but the keeper managed to save it.

8th min. REAL CHANCE FOR EGYPT! Abd Rabo got the ball behind defense and shot it low at goal but the Ivorian keeper managed to make the save.

9th min. Through pass to Dindane but El Hadary got to the ball first.

10th min. Dangerous low cross from the right wing into Ali in the area but it was hacked for a corner.

11th min. Yellow card for Ghaly after a harsh foul on Dindane.

11th min. Dindane met a cross from the right flank with a header but it sailed over the bar.

12th min. Dindane got the ball behind the Egyptian defense but El Saka managed to steal the ball.

13th ABDEL HALIM ALMOST MADE IT!!! Superb through pass to Abdel Halim from Abo Treka who sent a powerful left footed strike at goal but it gazed the post and went out!!

16th min. Abo Treka couldn't find a way through, he sent the ball to Abdel Wahab in the left wing and the latter tried a volley shot from narrow angle. The shot missed the target in the end.

18th min. Hard working Abdel Halim won a thrown in for Egypt.

19th min. Freekick for Egypt! El Tabi hit the wall and the ball was cleared to the left wing. Abdel Wahab crossed from there into the area but the Ivorian keeper managed to collect it safely.

20th min. ANOTHER CHANCE WENT BEGGING!! Hassan Mostafa sent a superb cross from the left wing which was met by a powerful header but it went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper.

21st min. DINDANE GAVE THE IVORIANS THE LEAD!! Poor clearance from the Egyptian defense led to Drogba getting the ball and sending it low in front of goal to find Dindane who managed to slide it into the back of the net. 0-1 now

24th min. Freekick in a very dangerous position for Egypt. Abd Raboh hit the wall though.

26th min. Ghaly crossed from outside the area to Hassan Mostafa, the latter couldn't get to the ball though.

27th min. DROGBA ALMOST SCORED He managed to control the ball after a left wing cross played to him, he faced El Hadary and tried to bury the ball past him. Luckily he missed the target by inches.

30th min. Abd Rabo crossed from the right wing to Ali in the area, the latter was heavily marked and tried to head the ball at goal. The header lacked power though.

31st min. Superb dribbling from Ghaly in the right wing, he crossed the ball high into the area but the Ivorian keeper managed to collect it in the air.

32nd min. Corner kick for Cote D'Ivoire. El Hadary collected it in the end.

33rd min. Bullet drive from Cote D'Ivoire's no.14, it went just over the crossbar.

34th min. WHAT A LUCK!!! Cote D'Ivoire's no. 17 almost scored in his own net. A cross from Abdel Wahab was cleared poorly by no. 17 and the ball was denied by the bar.

36th min. Freekick for Cote D'Ivoire. Toure struck it at goal but he missed the target by inches.

40th min. Dangerous low cross from the left wing into Egypt's area, El Tabi cleared the danger though.

41st min. Abdel Halim Ali did well to steal the ball from no 17 of Cote D'Ivoire. He outpaced him and the Ivorian defender had no other option but to tackle him. Egypt won a freekick and the Cote D'Ivoire got a yellow card for the foul.

43rd min. ABDEL HALIM HIT THE BAR!!! The bar again denied another Egyptian goal. This time Abdel Halim met a left wing cross with a bullet header which was denied by the bar.

44th min. Freekick for Egypt for a foul on Shawky. It was delivered high into the area to find the totally UNMARKED EL SAKA. However the latter headed the ball well wide!!!!

45+1 min. ABO TREKA SQUANDERED ANOTHER CHANCE!! Low pass into the area of Cote D'Ivoire, Abo Treka was there and tried a direct shot but he couldn't target it and the ball went way over the bar.

45+2nd min. End of the first half.

Second Half:

45th min. Freekick in a good position for Egypt. Abdel Wahab sent it just wide.

47th min. Abdel Wahab tried a shot from outside the area, it came off a defender and the Ivorian keeper managed to collect it.

49th min. Abo Treka gave the ball away just outside Cote D'Ivoire's area, the guests started a fast counter attack and Drogba managed to outpace El Saka and get one on one with Hadary, the Egyptian keeper managed to steal the ball though.

51st min. Freekick for Cote D'Ivoire. Toure sent a bullet drive at goal, El Hadary saved but couldn't hold onto the ball and Dindane found the net! However,t he goal was disallowed as the referee's assistant had his flag up there as Dindane was offside.

53rd min. THE REFEREE DENIED A CLEAR PENALTY FOR EGYPT! Hassan Mostafa dribbled past his marker and cut into the area from the left side, he was pushed by his marker and the referee said play on!!

54th min. GOAAAAAAAAL FOR EGYPT! Abo Treka tried to cross from Ali from the left wing, Abdel Halim and his marker both missed the ball and so did the goalkeeper and its in the net. 1-1 now.

57th min. Freekick for Egypt after a foul on Shawky. It was delivered high from out wide into the area but the referee whistled for offside.

59th min. DROGBA ALMOST SCORED! He was totally unmarked in the area and met a left wing cross with his head but his header wasn't accurate enough and went wide.

62nd min. Cote D'Ivoire's No.3 crossed into the area and Dindane headed the ball wide.

64th min. Abo Treka got the ball in the clear inside the box after a cross from Abdel Wahab from the left wing. He was blocked by a defender and the chance was squandered.

66th min. Abd Raboh tried a shot from way out but it went harmlessly wide.

69th min. Hassan Mostafa crossed from the left wing to Abdel Halim in front of goal but the latter missed the ball!!!

72nd min. Abdel Wahab sent a god pass to Hassan Mostafa in the left wing but the latter was in offside position.

73rd min. Low pass to Abdel Halim Ali in the left wing but he was caught offside.

74th min. Egypt need to bring some fresh legs in. What is Tardelli waiting for?

75th min. DROGBA SCORED THE 2ND FOR COTE D'Ivoire! He met a low cross from the left wing and sent the ball to the left of Hadary. 1-2 now.

76th min. Ghaly out, Tarek El Said in.

81st min. Abdel Wahab crossed from the right wing, but Hassan Mostafa missed the ball completely.

82nd min. VERY LATE SUBSTITUTION FOR EGYPT! Ahmed Hassan in, Ahmed El Sayed out.

83rd min. Hassan Mostafa chipped the ball to Ahmed Hassan just outside the area, he was brought down by his marker but the controversial referee said play on.

84th min. Indirect freekick inside Cote D'Ivoire's area. Abd Raboh sent it centimeters over the crossbar.

88th min. Hassan Mostafa sent a volley shot at goal but the keeper was there and saved it with ease.

89th min. The 4th official indicated 4 minute to be played.

90th min. AMR ZAKI SQUANDERED A REAL CHANCE!! The ball dropped to him behind the Ivorian defense, he tried to chip it over the keeper but it went over.

90+1 Another substitution for Cote D'Ivoire.

90+2 Drogba stole the ball from an Egyptian defender and tried to hit the target but the ball went straight into the arms of Hadary.

90+4 Poor cross from Abdel Wahab and the keeper got to it easily.
