Sherif Ikrami's chances of transferring to Feyenoord
may have been increased, after Dutch keeper Aerts rejected
to transfer to the Rotterdam based club.
The Dutch soccer magazine Voetbal International
stated that keeper Aerts of RBC refused the offer to
go to Feyenoord, and be loaned to RBC for the first
year. If this was to happen, the goalie would come over
in 2005 to Feyenoord as 2nd keeper or to compete with
Babos. That year, the contract of the veteran keepers
Lodewijks and Malkowski will end.
Aerts however opted to go to a team that wants to buy
him now directly as first keeper.
It is expected that this makes room and a higher chance
of a transfer for Sherif Ikrami.
