FIFA
have announced today that Cameroon six points penalty
will be lifted.
This came just days after the Cameroon
Football association has asked MR. Blater the FIFA president
to reduce the punishment which came after the Cameroon
team refused to change their controversial soccer kits
in the last CAN. Cameroon were punched after they played
with a one piece kit. The news will be a major boost
for Cameroon while it will be a major blow for both
Egypt & Ivory Coast. FIFA have also announced that
Cameroon will have to pay a fine of $155000 instead.
Cameroon will begin their first match
of the group against Benin with high confidence after
the
news. It is said that MR Blater himself has asked the
FIFA directors to reduce the ban after he felt it was
harsh. The news will return the group into its starting
point and it looks that the pharaohs will have a lot
of work to do in what is called the group of death.
On the other hand Egypt new manager MR.
Tardelli has announced 25 players that he will have
for Egypt 1st world cup qualifying match against Sudan.
After it was said that Mohamed Zidan will have his 1st
call-up, the Midtjylland wonder boy was once more left
out of the Egyptian squad with lots of questions been
asked about the reason for such decision. It was said
that Zidan will be in the squad but coach Tardelli hasn't
make his name in the squad list.
Egypt vs Sudan without the very best:
In addition to Zidan who was left out
of the selection for undisclosed reasons, Tardelli decided
to ban Mido and Ghaly from playing with the National
time for the rest of the qualifying phase. Both players
didn't join the camp on time and the reasons beyond
their absence weren't enough to convince the Italian
coach.
