The Star of the ACN, Ahmed Hassan, caught the interest
of several European clubs after his superb performance.
The Besiktas player's contract will end at the end of
the season.

Ahmed Hassan is the best foreign player this season
at Besiktas. Youla, Ailton and Pancu were send out of
the club after their disappointing performances. Cordoba
is also looking to his past and will leave the club
to Argentina at the end of the season. Big Brazilian
transfer Kleberson continues his bad football and it
is certain that nobody will accept his anonymous inputs
in the future.
On the other hand Ahmed Hassan played great matches
with Besiktas and gave his all on the pitch. The Egyptian
player is happy in Istanbul and the supporters love
him to amazing levels, except for his 'crying face on
the pitch'! Hassan could stay at the club if his contract
had more time on it, but this is the truth: Hassan is
at the end of his Besiktas contract and there is a possible
move out after his performance in the ACN.
Tigana commented on his player after the Cup which
Hassan was voted best player in. "I know how valuable
a player he is. We are in a changing period and will
continue our road with younger and hard-working players.
Hassan is also a quality player and proved himself to
me in our working time. I'm confused now and will decide
his contract at the end of the season."

The board will do what Tigana wants about Hassan's contract.
They are awaiting a "yes" from the French manager
to start talks with Ahmed Hassan's about his future.
There are some clubs that appear to be after Ahmed Hassan. Fulham,
Newcastle United, Werder Bremen, Marseille, Panathinaikos, Dynamo
Kiev and Vestel Manisa are behind the Egyptian star. The thirty-year-old
is closer than ever to his Premiership dream and this is the
last chance.
EgyptianPlayers.com can confirm that Hassan's name is running
on the agenda of several European agents and being a free
player made him very attractive.
EP will keep close to the Egyptian star's future transfer...
