Hassan in the last game vs Konya

Ahmed Hassan's contract is going to expire next summer and he will be a free agent at the end of the season. According to the Turkish website, Hassan talked with his agent and told him that he wants to stay in Turkey after leaving Besiktas. Hassan said he wants to move to Konya to play alongside conpatriots Ahmed Belal and Abdelzaher El Saka.

After that, Hassan's agent brought this offer to Konya's board and asked about the possibility of a transfer. Konya spokesman Hasan Dagli told the press that they can sign Ahmed Hassan if they can afford his wages. Dagli also added that the transfer may be in the middle of the season or next year, and that the parties will talk with the player again regarding this matter.

Hassan proved brilliant for Besiktas in the last two matches against Konya, with one goal and one assist. It seems that the Egyptian will leave the Istanbul outfit at the end of the season though. The hard working midfielder is looking for a new home for himself and Konya seems more suitable with the city's conservative structure and with the other Egyptian players there.

On the other hand, the Besiktas president is currently in France to sign a new manager who will take control of the team. The possible coaches are Paul Le Guen and Jean Tigana.
