Zidan couldn't score vs Dortmund from
a penalty kick in 2006
Mohamed Zidan completed the transfer to Dortmund and
trained with the Borrussia yellow and black shirt no.
10.
It is the first time for Zidan to wear the no. 10 shirt
since the start of his footballing career in Europe.
This is mainly due to the departure of Petric from Dortmund
to HSV and so, Zidan will wear Petric's shirt.
And now, Zidan and Klopp got reunited
Zidan will play alongside his former teammate at Werder
Bremen Nelson Valdez who moved to Dortmuind a couple
of years ago for a fee of 4.5m EUROs.
It should be noted that both Zidan and Klopp played against
Dortmund in 2006. Zidan almost scored in that match from
a penalty kick but he hit the post. However, he assisted the
equalizer for his side.
