It seems that Zidan will not rust on the bench for long. The Egyptian won't spend another season waiting for a few minutes every 2-3 matches to play. Zidan will join his favorite coach Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund as part of exchancge deal.

As EP reported a few hours ago, Martin Jol said some vague statements regarding Zidan and that he should concentrate more on football if he wants to stay at Hamburg. Jol also revealed that he is looking for a striker to play next to Guerrero and all this confirm what German newspaper Bild claimed.

If both clubs agreed on transfer details, Egyptian striker Zidan will be the new Dortmund hitman while the Croatian 27 year old Mladen Petric will join HSV.

While HSV proved to be a major side in the Bundesliga this season, this will not matter much for Zidan as he won't be a key player in the team. In Dortmund, Zidan and Klopp will be re-united, the Godfather Klopp can do wonders with Zidan as the former Mainz coach helped the Egyptian score 22 times in 44 games.

Zidan has been always criticized for acting in a childish way when dealing with coaches, but Klopp was an exception, he knew how to get the best out of Zidan and how to keep the Egyptian happy, confident, and in top form.

Both clubs should finalise this deal within 24 hours. EP will keep you updated with the latest developments....
