Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan criticized
his forrmer coach at HSV Huub Stevens. The Egyptian
spoke to Danish newspaper BT saying some very harsh
words about Stevens.
Egyptian striker Zidan decided to open fire on his former
coach Huub Stevens and blamed him for his anticlimactic
season.
Zidan told the Danish newspaper BT
that he had been treated like sh*t by Stevens"
"That was the worst season that Ive
had in my career explained Zidan. Huub treated
me like sh*t and not like a player that he wanted to
have at the club.
Normally he came into the dressing
room and spoke Dutch. It was as if we were worthless
and that he had little respect for us"
"He never came to me to even say "Hi". Such
poor treatment from him made me lose my interest in playing".
Zidan's comments reflected his extreme frustration.
The player concluded by saying that the main reason for his
discomfort at HSV is now gone and he is now looking forward
to give 100% under the new manager Martin Jol.
It should be noted that Zidan is currently a
target for Borussia Dortmund and Spanish side Real Betis but
none of the clubs made offers yet for the Egyptian.
