For the third week in a row, Zidan didn't make it to HSV selection. The Egyptian is on the way to recover from intestinal infection that kept him out of action for a couple of weeks.

HSV faced Cottbus in an away encounter on Sunday afternoon. The nightmare continued as HSV suffered another defeat by two goals to nil which pushed them back to the 5th position in table. They only have a match to play at home next week and they will have to win in order to make it to UEFA cup qualifying round. Otherwise they will fail to achieve European qualification.

HSV were 2nd in the table for quite some time, but a series of disappointing performances and results, resulted in them dropping to the 5th spot in table and losing hope in qualification to the prestigious Champions League.

It should be noted that Huub Stevens is leaving the club after next week match and reports linked the club with former coach of Mido and Ghaly at Spurs Martin Jol. The Dutch manager is currently negotiating with HSV and might be presented after end of season as their new manager.

The season has been a big disappointment for Zidan and hopefully, the situation will change next season either in HSV or elsewhere.

EP will keep you updated with all Zidan's latest news and videos....
