In response to a report on the Internet, which stated
that the FCN manager dropped Rami after his rejection
of the Danish U20 team, the player said to EP: "I
don't know who made this news up, it is just untrue!"
He added: "I have had no problems whatsoever with
my club. The manager knows that I want to play for Egypt,
and the club has said nothing bad about this.
"I had a slight groin strain this week and that's
the only reason I couldn't play in the last game.

"I would like to categorically say that I have never
spoken to any media except EgyptianPlayers.com and will continue
to speak only to them, because other people are writing untrue
things and quoting me when I didn't even speak to them."
About the national team situation, Rami, who is now captain
of FCN's youth team, revealed: "My heart is with Egypt,
and they promised to send me the fax at the beginning of the
(next) month."
