Mido started for the Hammers in the way clash with
Chelsea. The home team won comprehensively by four goals
to one. Mido started the game but he was replaced in
the 66th minute after playing a decent game.
Mido's West Ham suffered an expected loss to Chelsea.
The Egyptian started the game and did considerably well
in winning headers for his side and trying to hold the
ball under pressure. However, he never been a threat
on target and lost possession in the gameplay that led
to the 2nd goal for Chelsea.
The first goal came from a powerful header
by Alex in the 16th minute. However, the Hammers pulled
level in the 31st minute through a powerful long range
effort by Scott Parker.
In the 49th minute, Mido was booked after
a late challenge. A few minutes later, Mido lost possession
to allow Lampard to start a counter, he fed the ball
to Malouda and the later sent a cross to Drogba who
scored an easy goal to make it 1-2.
Mido was replaced after the 2nd goal but this never
helped West Ham as they conceded two more goals through
Malouda and Drogba in the 77th and 90th minutes respectively.
In the end, dominant Chelsea thrashed
relegation threatened West Ham who became 16th with
27 points while Zaki's Hull are currently 19th with
24 points.
