Boro striker Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam is
currently considering a number of available offers as
he cannot accept being a Championship player. The striker
could end up moving to another European league if he
can't secure a move to a Premiership club in the coming
weeks.
The summer transfer window is now open
with many unsettled players are awaiting offers to move
in this window.
Egyptian striker Mido has always been
a star in almost every transfer window since he moved
to Europe. The 26 year old striker is once again looking
for a new club after Boro's relegation.
Hossam might have to look outside England
this time as Wigan are not showing signs of signing
the Egyptian striker especially after the departure
of Steve Bruce. Mido won't accept playing at the Championship
level as his ability is much higher than the inferior
level of the English Championship.
Hossam claimed that he is not going back to Boro as
he has a relegation release clause in his contract which
allows him to leave in case of Boro's relegation. The
Egyptian also claimed interest from Italian Serie A
side Udinese and a number of other clubs outside England.
However, he also declared that he is keen on staying
in the Premiership.
The next few days/week should determine
Mido's destination..
