Mido succeeded in becoming the number
one striker at Tottenham, with no other target man in
contention, and the two 'little' men not netting as
many as the Egyptian.
It is worth mention that former Spurs striker Grzegorz
Rasiak - who failed to rival Mido - has played for his
new club Southampton but missed an open goal on his
debut.
Statistics:
In the games that Mido started in Spurs have won 11,
lost 3 and drawn 6, with their average points around
2 per match.
The matches in which he was not a starter or didn't
feature saw Spurs win just 1 match, lose 2 and draw
4, making an average of a point a game.
The won games in which he started are over 50%, while
less than 15% where he did not feature. Losses are almost
twice as oftne when he doesn't play and so are draws
are more than double likely when Mido is off the pitch...
