Egypt's keeper Essam El Hadary couldn't help his
side in the first game of the season. Hadary's Sion
lost to Aarau by three goals to one in the first day
of the league. Ianu scored twice in Hadary's net in
the 10th and 35th minutes respectively while Rogerio
scored the 3rd in the 67th minute. FC Sion's only goal
in the last minute of the game but it was no more than
a consolation goal.

El Hadary and Sion started dreadfully in the league
as they lost their first match in the season by three
goals to one versus Aarau.
Hadary's side looked terrible in the game.
The defense was napping the whole ninety minutes and
Hadary was forced to face the Aarau strikers coming
face to face to him in many occasions. The Egyptian
wasn't able to do well in the game thanks to the disastrous
defending and their schoolboy mistakes.
On the other hand, attacking wasn't better
by any mean. FC Sion already had many chances to score
but the strikers failed to hit the target in all the
chances they got. The only goal that they scored in
stoppage time came in a comic way as the ball refused
to go in a couple of times before Mobulu was able to
bury it home.
It took Aarau just ten minutes to score
in Hadary's net. The goal came through a low pass from
the right wing to the onside Ianu who hit it directly
home to the left of the Egyptian keeper from a few yards
out.

Minutes later, Sion had two chances to score but poor
finishing kept the score at 1-0 to Aarau.
In the 35th minute, a long through pass
was played to Ianu, the latter broke the offside trap
and managed to lob the ball over the oncoming Hadary
who came out of his goal needlessly.
In the second half, Aarau extended their
lead even further as a perfect pass was played to the
onside Rogerio who faced the Egyptian keeper and scored
with ease to make the score 3-0.
A few minutes later, El Hadary almost
conceded a 4th goal as Rogerio was one on one with the
Egyptian keeper but he put the ball over.
In stoppage time, Mobulu scored the only
goal for Sion to end the game in a 3-1 away defeat.
It should be noted that Hadary's side
will face Young Boys at home in the 2nd week of the
Swiss league.
