Egypt's keeper El Hadary achieved his first win with his new side FC Sion as they won against St Gallen by two goals to one. El Hadary shone in the first half and made a couple of great saves. However, he once again made a mistake that led to the homeside equalizer as he rushed out his net needlessly to collect the ball in the air. However, he dropped it and that error led to goal.

The match was generally boring and the chances weren't many, but the last minutes of the game were the most exciting.

FC Sion controlled the game from the start and managed to score after three minutes from the kick off when the ball was crossed from the right wing to find Saborio in front of goal, the later was left with a simple finish as he slotted the ball home to give Hadary's side the early lead.

In the 42nd minute, El Hadary made an excellent save for a long range effort and managed to turn the ball behind for a corner. The Egyptian also did well to collect the ball safely in the air from the corner kick.

Start of the 2nd half was slow and El Hadary wasn't tested again till the 74th minute. This time St Gallen won a freekick which was delivered high behind the defense, the ball hit the ground in front of Hadary and the Egyptian punched it behind for a corner.

In the 4th minute, well positioned Hadary denied another goal for the homeside from a free header. However, lack of communication with defense cost the Egyptian and his side a goal in the dying moments of the game as the Egyptian came out of his goal needlessly to collide with a defender and drop the ball which went to a St Gallen player who laid it to Ciccone who found the net with ease.

However, in the stoppage time, Sion managed to score from a counter attacking move through the substitute Adeshina who controlled the ball well in front of goal after receiving a low cross from the left wing and sent the ball past the keeper to end the game in a 1-2 win for Sion.
