FC Sion lost their first match
after the sacking of their coach Steilke. They lost
by two goals to one to Bellinzona on Saturday in absense
of El Hadary who asked to be dropped from selection
for the game.
Essam El Hadary is no longer happy a FC
Sion. The Egyptian keeper will move to another club
in the January transfer window. He came off injured
in the last week match after conceding three goals and
colliding with the post. He asked to be replaced not
only due to injury, but due to the situation at the
club and the performance of defense which leaves him
exposed at the back as well.
Things are getting worse at Sion as the
controversial chairman Constantine decided to give the
German coach Steilke the sack last week. Ironically,
the chairman decided to lead the game himself in the
upcoming matches, a thing that El Hadary couldn't accept
as it reveals how unprofessional things are turning
at the club.
Reports claimed that El Hadary asked not
to participate in Yesterday's match versus Bellinzona.
The Egyptian asked his manager/chairman Constantine
to leave in the January transfer window and the Swiss
chairman approved the request.
The game witnessed two red cards and two penalty kicks.
Sion ended the first half leading by one goal which
came through Vanczak. However, Nwaneri was sent off
following a professional foul and the referee awarded
the homeside a penalty kick, from which they equalized
through Lustrinelli.
The game was heading to a 1-1 draw but
a stoppage time penalty kick was awarded to the homeside
and Lustrinelli scored again from the spot to win the
game for Bellinzona.
A minute later, Bellizona's Garrido was
sent off after receiving a 2nd yellow card but it was
already late for Sion to come back into the game.
