Egyptian youngster Ahmed Samir Farag of Sochaux will leave France to join Egyptian champions Al-Ahly on a loan deal.

Farag was purchased by Sochaux from Ahly last season and had an impressive time at the French outfit's youth team, after which he was promoted to the A-squad for 2005-2006. However, he has failed to even make the bench and is seen as a squad player.

Still young however, Farag is doing well and has the advantage of training in Europe from a young age. However, hungry for some playing time, he has moved to Al-Ahly temporarily.

The loan deal which was announced by the club has a 6-month duration from this now until June 2006, when Farag will return to Sochaux for next season's preparations.
