Ahmed Farag's Sochaux lost their first game of the French League season.

Although he featured in some friendly games, Farag was not selected in the Sochaux match-squad against Toulouse.

A goal after a quarter of an hour from Toulouse striker Francileudo Santos was what separated the sides throughout.

Despite attempts from the home side to get back into the game they were unable to, sealing a loss on the first day of the season.

Sochaux: Richert, Martinovic - Afolabi, Bühler, Potillon, Diawara, N'Daw - Boudarène, Pitau, Brunel, Trapasso, Isabey , Kader, Zaïri, Menez, Ilan.
