Emad Meteb will iss tonight's season opener between Standard Liege and Zulte-Waregem. The Egyptian hitman still needs a couple of weeks of solo training beforfe he can join his teammates in team training.

Standard Liege will kick off the league campaign tonight as they face Zulte Waregem at home. However, the Egyptian star Emad Meteb will not be ready for the game.

Due to the late arrival of Meteb and his inability to attend preseason phase with his new club, the Egyptian had to start solo training earlier this week. After 10-15 days of solo training, the 27 year old Egyptian will be ready to join his teammates in group training.

This means that Meteb will not feature in any games in the next couple of weeks including Standard Liege's friendly against Real Madrid.
