Motaeb: A dream come true:

In an exclusive interview, on the official website- speaking through a translator - Motaeb said: "I'm happy to be here and I hope to give all my best for Bristol City.

"I want to give my best for the manager (Gary Johnson), who I like very much.

"I am a natural striker and I know all about Bristol City. I know the kind of supporters that are waiting to see me play.

"I have to score goals for Bristol City and create them too. I want to help the club win promotion to the Premier League.

"This is a very big step for me, from the Egyptian league to England.

"However, it's always been my dream to play in England. It's a very big league, a very strong league and one that is seen around the world."

He said: "It has been a difficult decision to leave the club where I grew up and learnt my football.

"But this is a professional life and I'm sure they will understand my decision in Egypt. I hope to realise all my dreams with Bristol City."

He added: "I'm ready to learn English. I know some already and can understand much of what people are saying, but I struggle with my speech and don't want to make lots of mistakes.

"It's important I learn English for my team-mates and the coaching staff so it is easier to communicate with them."

EP congratulate Motaeb for joining the professionals abroad and promise the fans that all the latest on him, his future goals and clips with Bristol City will be on Egyptianplayers.com in the very near future.
