Egyptian goalie Sherif Ekramy will have a chance to
start in the upcoming Eredivisie away match for Feyenoord
against Willem II due to the injury of main shot stopper
Henk Timmer.
Sunday could by the day that Sherif Ekramy
awaited for long as he might start versus Willem II.
Ekramy never had the chance to play in the current season
but injury of Henk Timmer could grant him a starting
spot in the line-up.
The Main goalie for Feyenoord Henk Timmer
is confirmed to miss the match due to a shoulder injury
and Ekramy is ready to replace the Dutch international
in the upcoming match.
It should be noted that the current coach
Van Marwick prefers Henk Timmer over Ekramy but Marwick
is going to leave Feyenoord at end of season as he will
be appointed as Holland manager.
The new coach has been named last week. Feyenoord board decided
to appoint the former Heerenveen coach Gertjan Verbeek as
a new manager and hopefully, Ekramy will get more playing
time with Verbeek at helm.
Come to EP on Sunday for report and possible
video highlights for Ekramy from his season debut...
