Sherif Ekramy may have settled for a place on the substitute's bench at Feyenoord, after receiving a loan offer from Belgian club FCV Dender but rejecting it after travelling to see the club.

Voetbal International had revealed that Jupiler League outfit Dender were in talks with Ekramy, and had offered to loan him. The Belgian team's Dutch coach Boskamp is in urgent need of a new goalkeeper, and tried to snatch the Egyptian. Feyenoord were ready to let Ekramy leave on loan in order to give him playing time and are thought to have agreed with Dender.
