In a poll conducted in July by EgyptianPlayers.com's partners Netwerk.to, Feyenoord's faithful put Ekramy as the keeper they want as first choice.

Over a thousand people voted, but prefered the Egyptian youngster to the veteran Dutch keeper Henk Timmer by a serious majority.

Sherif, who won 67% of votes, had told EP that he and Timmer are being
tested in order for the manager to make a decision for the new season.
