Belal Scores To Help Konya Beat Denizli

Egyptian striker Ahmed Belal scored the only and winning goal for Konyaspor in their away clash with Denizlispor. Belal scored his goal in the 25th minute and the homeside couldn't come back into the game.

As EP reported earlier, Egyptian star Ahmed Belal will be the main striker for Konya this season. Belal started in last week's match and also this weekend.

On Sunday, Konyaspor played an away match versus Denizlispor. Belal and El Saka were amongst the starting eleven and both contributed to their team's success in ending the game to their favor.

In the first half, Belal scored in the 25th minute from a good follow. The goal came through a cross from the right wing, Tayfun met the cross with a diving header and the goalkeeper of Denizli (Suleyman Küçük)managed to save the attempt but the ball fell to Belal who tapped it in to make the score 0-1 for Konya.

In the 2nd half, Belal was once again the most dangerous Konya player and almost scored another goal when he received a low pass and advanced into penalty area from the right side, he tried to bury the ball home from narrow angle but his shot went into the side netting.

The other Egyptian at the club, El Saka played a very good match and was rated as the best Konya player together with Belal and the goalkeeper Ozden.

It should be noted that El Saka played the full match while Belal was taken off in the 87th minute as Eren came on to replace him.

With this win, Konya became 3rd in the table.
