The Turkish
Super League kicked off this week and both Egyptians
at Konya (Belal and El Saka) played a full game versus
the newly promoted side Sakaryaspor. The game ended
in a 1-1 draw.
As EP reported earlier, El Saka was the
new Konyaspor captain in the game. In addition to this,
Ahmed Belal played the full match in attack and he will
start the coming games as Konya let striker Okan Yilmaz
and defender Umit Bozkurt go and didn't bring a replacement.
So, Belal will have a big chance to start games in the
striker position.
During the match, Belal couldn't create
many goal scoring opportunities for himself. He had
a single attempt from a powerful shot but his shot was
deflected off a defender and went wide.
On the other hand, El Saka played a good
match in defense and made some important tackles. The
Egyptian centre back was shown a yellow card after tripping
the former Boca Juniors forward Cangele whop is currently
playing for Sakarya.
It should be noted that Konya scored their goal in the first
minute through Yordanov while Embayo equalized for the guests
in the 88th minute.
More on Saka and Belal soon ..
