Egyptian striker Ahmed Belal helped his new side Ankaragucu to escape relegation danger by scoring an important goal that helped Ankara to win the three points from their home game versus Gaziantepspor.

Belal scored his goal in the 10th minute of the game when the ball was chipped to him from midfield, Belal was onside and had only the keeper to beat, he faced the keeper and put the ball gently home to give Ankaragucu the lead.

Seven minutes later, the ball was played on the floor to Belal who passed it low to Umit Bulut in front of goal and the latter finished well to double Ankara's lead.

Later on, Belal was booked after a heated argument between him and one of Gaziantep players.

In the 60th minute, Belal was close to score his second goal when he received the ball on the edge of the box, he tried a shot with his right into the top corner but the goalkeeper made a fingertip save and turned Belal's shot into a corner.

In the 79th minute, the guests clawed a goal back through Bayraktar.

Just one minutes before the final whistle, the referee awarded Gaziantep a freekick. The ball was played long from the freekick but Belal blocked it with his shoulder, the referee thought that Belal stopped the ball intentionally with his hand and showed him the 2nd yellow card and the Egyptian headed into the tunnel.

After the match, Turkish TV interviewed Belal to know his comments on his Sending off and the Egyptian interestingly answered all the questions in Turkish language and told TV that the ball hit his shoulder while he was jumping and his handball wasn't deliberate.
