On-loan striker Ahmed Belal made Konyaspor regret loaning him to Ankaragucu as he helped his new side to beat Konya by three goals to nil by scoring the 3rd goal.

Belal played the full match and was always a threat in front of goal, the Egyptian also created a real chance for himself in the 2nd half but he shot the ball over the bar.

The goal is the 2nd for Belal for Ankaragucu (the first was versus Besiktas last week). Ironically, the goal came against Konyaspor who decided to loan Belal out to free some space for the new signings during the winter break.

Ankaragucu managed to take the lead early on (after eleven minutes from the start) as their forward Okan kuc scored from a well placed volley shot from inside the box after a cross from the left wing.

After the goal, Konya put more pressure on Ankara's defense and created three goal scoring opportunities but they couldn't take advantage of the chances and the score remained 1-0.

In the 2nd half, particularly in the 60th minute, Ankaragucu doubled their lead through Umit Bulut who received a through pass and dribbled into the box to face the keeper and place the ball superbly beyond him into the back of the net.
