Beshir El Tabei, Ibrahim Said, Mohamed Abdallah and
El Saka all saw action in Rizespor's important 1-0 home
win over Konyaspor. The win is important step for Rize
to skip relegation at end of season.
El Saka (Konya captain) blames his teammate for elbowing
Rize player and getting a red card
Just one week before the end of the Turkish Super League
season, Egyptians at Rize (Beshir and Ibrahim Said)
and at Konyaspor (Mohamed Abdallah and El Saka) faced
each other in an important match especially for Rize
who needed the win to avoid relegation.
The game witnessed the sending off of two players from
Konyaspor which made the job for Beshir and Heema's
side relatively easier. It is worth nothigng that Beshir
was the main reason beyond the 2nd red card for Konya
as their player Erman Özgür hit the Egyptian
on the face after Beshir kicked the ball away to waste
time. The Egyptian defender was booked while Özgür
had to leave the pitch after recweiving the red card.
Rizespor scored the only goal early on as Altan headed
the ball home after a fine cross from the right win
in the 8th minute.

Abdallah in challenge with Beshir
In the 21st minute, Konya continued their pressure
and won a freekick in the right wing. However, their
player Sabin elbowed one of Rizespor players in the
face and ths resulted in a red card for Sabin.
Konya continued their game starting from the 21st minute
with just ten players on the field. They were already
down by a goal and so, their job was extremely difficult
to come back into the game while playing with ten men
and away from home as well.
