Egyptian centre back Beshir El
Tabei was the talk of the Turkish press which criticized
the Egyptian after his controversial reaction when his
side scored the equalizer versus Denizlispor.

Turkish football league came to the end, however, there
is still a super title challenge between teams in the
top and bottom places. Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are
racing for the Championship as Ahmed Hassan’s Besiktas
won the Turkish Cup.

In the last week, five teams are living the relegation
danger as Rize, Gaziantep, Denizli, Ankaraspor and Malatya.
Samsun and Diyarbakir are certainly relegated to the
second division and the third team will be determined
in this weekend.

Ankaragucu (Belal) was also in the danger zone but they escaped
relegation with the goal of Ahmed Belal. El Saka’s Konya
are in good position in the middle of the table while Ayman’s
Gencler are still challenging for the UEFA Cup place against
Trabzonspor and Kayseri.
But the most important news is coming from Rizespor’s
Egyptian defender Beshir El Tabei. The Egyptian player caused
alot of controversy after his meaningful action in the match
against Denizli.
Denizli had to win the match to continue their hopes for
staying in the Super League. They faced Rizespor and won the
match 1-2. The interesting thing that Beshir fired the speculations
of rigging in the match. Egyptian defender made a foul against
Denizli's player Oliveria and the refree awarded penalty kick
for Denizli, from which they scored the second. That was a
normal action maybe but Beshir El Tabei did another action
after his team-mate Unal’s goal! Rize scored the goal
and made the score 1-2. But Beshir put his hands on his head
and made an action which showed him worry. The cameras caught
Beshir’s unhapinness after his team scored.
Media commentors talked about Beshir's action and Turkish
media wrote this speculation and pointed the action of Egyptian
after the goal and the behaviour in his penalty.
Rizespor has a relegation danger but Beshir’s after
goal action fired the unwanted talkings in the league challenge.
Rize Chairman told the press that they believe Beshir and
they see him as an important member of the team. Beshir told
the press that media is looking from the wrong place and he
is worried about this. He defended his action as a normal
action after he couldnt believe the goodness of their goal…
