Beshir El Tabei and half Egyptian Murat Salar returned home with a point as they drew with Manisaspor 1-1 this weekend.

The two close-to-relegation sides clashed together this weekend. Beshir played in the heart of defense as usual while the half Egyptian Murat Hikmet Salar played in the centre of midfield. Both players should a good performance and remained on the field the whole ninety minutes.

Both goals came in the second half as Rizespor's midfielder Cem Baki put the guests ahead in the 53rd minute of the game while Hakan Balta equalized for Manisa in the 75th minute of the game.

Two minutes after the equalizer, the substitute Gökhan was sent off after a harsh foul and Rizespor had to resume the game with ten men on the field. However, they survived the pressure in the last 17 minutes and managed to end the game in a 1-1 draw.

The draw didn't help Manisa or Rize as both sides remained in the lower third of the Turkish Super league table.

It should be noted that Beshir and Murat's Rizespor couldn't perform as the previous season so far. The last year was one of their best seasons as they were close to European qualification and Beshir got credited for his solid role in defense.
