A few days ago Beshir El Tabei and Murat Salar's team
Caykur Rizespor sacked their manager Metin Yildiz because
of the team's bad form. Two days ago Rizespor appointed
Sakip Ozberk as their new manager.
Sakip Ozberk commented in the press conference, "I
came here to establish this team again.
"If we can win two matches we can do better."
He continued, "There are some gaps from last season's
team but they've been repaired via new transfers. We
need some time for adaptation though."
Although Rize were on track for a UEFA Cup finish last
season, they are now near the bottom of the table and
are among those tipped for relegation. "In the
last years we could predict relegated teams in advance,
but now we can't say, so small differences are very
important. We want to create those small differences."

Ozberk said to supporters that they will watch a very impressive
team. "Our team will fight to win," he promised.
Ozberk was with at Murat Salar's ex-club Diyarbakirspor, as
well as managing Amr El Disuki at Ankaragucu.
