In the second round of the Turkish Cup, Caykur Rizespor met Kocaelispor, fifth-place holders in the 2A League, and saw the next round via Fahri's lob shot. Hosny and Beshir's Rizespor missed a penalty kick as well, and both Egyptians played ninety minutes.

First Half:

In the minute 23, Koray knocked Murat Sozkesen down in the penalty area and the referee pointed at the penalty spot without hesitation. The hero of the opportunity, Murat Sozkesen, also walked to kick the ball from the white spot but Hakan was keen to punch the ball for a corner.

In the minute 36, Zafer crossed from the right into the area and Serkan sent the ball out.

Second Half:

In the minute 68, Ahmed Salah shot the ball fiercely from well outside the penalty area but the ball went near the goal, skimming the post!

Eleven minutes before the final whistle, Fahri saved the match from going into the over time. Ahmed Salah passed the ball to Fahri, who then dribbled all the way down to the area before he made a lob shot over Hakan to find the goal: 1-0.

Caykur Rizespor saw themselves through to the next round on this Wednesday afternoon.
