Beshir did not play due to suspension but Hosny found
his place in the first eleven whilst Caykur Rizespor
vexed Gaziantepspor. After the game, the coach of Gaziantepspor,
Nurullah Saglam announced his resignation but the chairman
Celal Dogan convinced him after negotiations that lasted
hours.
First Half:
Gaziantepspor did not see a winning weekend for the
last four weeks as Rizespor kept their pace on track.
In the minute 12, Gaziantep's Bekir gave a clever pass
to Erdal Gunes who could not touch the ball whilst being
in the area and the defenders cleared off the danger.
In the twenty-fifth minute, Zafer jinked past the defenders
and gave it short to Cem Baki who made a comfortable
shot towards the goal and found the net: 1-0.
Four minutes later, Rize's Serkan looked at the keeper
and made a long range shot but he saw the ball flying
near the post.
In the last minute of the first half, Fahri used the
left flank and crossed the ball to Serkan who just shot
after entering the area but the ball went wide near
the post.
The first half ended with a single goal whilst Nurullah
Saglam's position began to hesitate.

Second Half:
In the minute 54, Gaziantep attacked as Devran played long
to Tarik Ettayeb who shot the ball at the keeper.
Hosny played an hour and was replaced by Evren.
In the minute 62, Tarik gave an intelligent pass to Erdal
Gunes who had only the goalie to beat but he could not beat
Zdravkov who tipped the ball with his fingertips for a corner.
Four minutes later, Mehmet Polat could not shoot the ball
after he has latched onto Tarik Ettayeb's pass, and wasted
an opportunity.
In the minute 79, Bekir crossed the ball from the left into
the area and Tarik Ettayeb shot from an acute angle but the
ball skimmed near the post.
A minute later, Gokhan Zan jumped well to Lazarov's curved
cross but he missed the goal.
