Amir shone with PAOK

Egyptian international defender Amir Azmy Megahed is to be released by Saudi Arabian club Al-Shabab just months after going on loan from Greece's PAOK Salonika.

Al Shabab, who lost their Saudi title and were knocked out of the Asian Champions League, are also releasing their Ghana international midfielder Godwin Attram.

Amir is expected to return to PAOK where his future will be decided in the coming weeks.
