Egyptian
centre back Amir Azmy Megahed resumed training with PAOK
after his recovery from the long term kne injury that
he suffered early on last season and kept him away from
action for over 8 monmths. The Egyptian also saw a few
minutes of action in PAOK's friendly with Lyon.
PAOK faced the French champions Lyon on
Monday and the game ended in a 2-0 win for the French
side.
Egyptian centre back Amir Azmy was introduced
to the field in the 74th minute as he came to replace
Hasiotis.
PAOK were already behind by two goals
when Amir entered the field. Amir played well in the
15 minutes he played and managed to keep John Carew's
danger at bay.
It should be noted that this match is
the first for Amir since his knee injury that kept him
out of action the whole season.
It is also worth mentioning that PAOK will face West Ham in
a frindly on the 8th of August and Amir will likely see action
in that game.
