Onform talented
Egyptian forward Shikabala succeeded in creating two
goals for PAOK in their clash with AEK Athens which
ended in a 2-1 victory for Shikabala's side.
Egyptian talented forward Shikabala helped
PAOK to jump into the 5th spot in the table and revived
their hopes in European qualification. The Egyptian
assisted twice in PAOK's home match against AEK which
ended to the favor of PAOK by two goals to one.
Both goals came in the 2nd half, particularly
in the 72nd and 79th minutes of the game. The first
came through a clever cross from Shikabala from the
left wing and Yiasoum who buried it from close range
to give PAOK the lead.
Seven minutes later, Shikabala made another
fine assist for the 2nd goal as he crossed from the
right wing to Salpigidis who scored from close range
to double PAOK's lead.
In the last minute of the game, AEK clawed a goal back
from a penalty kick and the final score was 2-1 for PAOK.
