Two first half goals made the job easy for Shikanbala and his teammates who achieved a 2-0 home victory over OFI.

PAOK took the lead in the 36th minute through Hristodoulopoulos who scored through a freekick just outside the box. Hristodoulopoulos placed the ball over the defensive wall to beat the keeper and to give PAOK the deserved lead.

Three minutes before half-time, PAOK managed to extend their lead to two goals. The goal came after a series of good passing from the homeside. OFI's defender Anastasiadis passed the ball by mistake to PAOK's Salpigidis (thanks to the pressure from PAOK side) and the latter made no mistake and scored an easy goal to make the score 2-0 for the homeside.

Shikabala played a fine first half but he didn't have direct attempts on goal. The Egyptian youngster left the pitch in the 66th minute and was replaced by Mieciel.

With this victory, PAOK remained 5th in the Greek league table.

It should be noted that the Greek league will pause for two weeks because of holidays which will end on the 8th of January.
