Amir and Shikabala's PAOK lost their away game against Rapid Bucharest and got eliminated from Europe's 2nd competition. Amir and Shikabala didn't start but they both came on in the second half and showed a good performance.

The first half was one sided as the homeside put PAOK under pressure. The chances weren't many but it was clear that Rapid Bucharest is the better side.

The only goal on the game came in the last minute of the first half. The goal came through a freekick near the edge of PAOK's penalty area. Maldarasanu placed the ball over the wall into the back of the net leaving the keeper without a chance.

During half time, Amir Amzy came on to replace the centre back Feutchine. The Egyptian was rock solid in defense and helped in keeping Rapid forwards' danger at bay.

In the 56th minute, Shikabala came on to replace the forward Salpigidis. Shikabala played more like a right winger and did it with great success. The Egyptian was dangerous as he used his skills to evade opponents and sent a few dangerous crosses from the right wing into the penalty area.

With Amir and Shikabala on the pitch, PAOK took control of the game and forced Rapid to defend. Amir played a very good role in defense and prevented many fast counter attacks either by direct interception of key passes or using his aerial abilities to clear the ball with his head.

Despite this, PAOK couldn't equalize and the game ended in a 1-0 defeat which means their failure to qualify to UEFA cup's next round.
