Egyptians Amir Azmy and Shikabala (PAOK) and Ahmed Magdy (Panionios) faced each other this weekend for the first time this season. The game ended in a 1-0 win for Amir and Shikabala's side.

The game took place at PAOK's home turf, the Toumba stadium and both Shikabala and Ahmed Magdy were in the starting lineup. On the other side, Amir Azmy couldn't feature in the game because of injury.

The game ended in a 1-0 victory for PAOK. Their only goal came through a penalty kick after a foul on Mieciel. Salpigidis converted it in the 44th minute of the game to give PAOK the lead.

Egyptian forward Shikabala played the full match while Ahmed Magdy was replaced during half time.

Aside from this news, Amir missed games for more than a month and when he recovered, the injury came back to him and he had to be replaced after 26 minutes in the game between PAOK and Agrotikos in the Greek cup. The Egyptian centre back is currently injured but he hopes to be able to participate in the upcoming UEFA cup clash between PAOK and VFB Stuttgart on Thursday 24th of November.

Amir wants to participate in this game in particular as it was reported that some scouts from the Bundesliga giants Schalke 04 will attend the game to have a closer look on the Egyptian.
