PAOK defender Amir Azmy Megahed confirmed
that he needs two more weeks of rest before he can get
back to on-field action.
Amir celebrates his first goal in the preseason for
PAOK
Both Egyptian players Amir Azmy Megahed
and Shikabala didn't take part in PAOK's latest home
league match against Larisa which ended in a 2-2 draw
at the Toumba stadium.
Amir and Shikabala missed the game because
of injury. Amir got injured in the home match against
Egaleo in which PAOK won by two goals to nil.
The muscle injury kept Amir out of action
in the past two weeks and he is expected to get back
to the green field after two more weeks. Amir and his
compatriot Shikabala already missed the UEFA cup match
against Metalurh and also the latest league match versus
Larisa.

Aside from the injury news, Amir confirmed to Egyptian newspaper
Al-Ahram that he received an offer from one of the top clubs
in Greece but his club PAOK refused to let him go in Summer.
The Egyptian still hopes that the situation chances in the
winter break though so he can move to a bigger club.
It should be noted that Amir joined PAOK in
the last winter break coming from Egyptian club Al-Zamalek.
The Egyptian was pretty impressive in the few months that
he spent with the PAOK team and he became one of the key members
of the squad in a short period of time.
