Egyptians in PAOK couldn't achieve good result on Thursday night as PAOK drew 1-1 with Metalurg Donetsk. Amir Azmy played from the start while Shikabala was on bench and came on in the 75th minute.

Although they played on their home ground, PAOK couldn't overcome the Ukrainian side Metalurg Donetsk yesterday.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw. PAOK played better in the first half and they took the lead in the 25th minute from a close shot by Dimitris Salpigidis. However, the guests were the better side in the second half and managed to level the score in the 66th minute through Shyschenko who found himself in the clear with only PAOK keeper to beat.

Amir Amzy played the full match in the heart of PAOK's defense while Shikabala came on in the 75th minute to replace the defender Akyel in order to help in attack but the time was already late for PAOK to take the lead once again.
