Egyptian centre back Amir Azmy Megahed played a full match this weekend against Atromitos. PAOK were leading the game by two goals but the guests managed to equalize in the end.

In the 2nd week of the Greek league, PAOK couldn't achieve their first win this season. They were close to a victory over their Atromitos but the guests managed to end the game in a 2-2 draw.

Both Egyptian players Amir Azmy Megahed and Shikabala were selected for the game. However, only Amir Azmy appeared on the pitch and played the whole game. Shikabala, on the other side, watched the action from the subs bench.

PAOK took the lead in the game in the 25th minute when Mieciel scored from a close shot. In the 35th minute of the game, the team captain Zagorakis passed the ball to Salpigidis, who added the 2nd after a nice solo effort.

In the second half, Zaharopoulos reduced the deficit to one goal as he scored from a powerful shot from inside the box.

In the 61st minute, PAOK's Karipidis was shown the red card and the homeside had to resume the game with one man down.

Bad luck continued for PAOK as their defender Udeze headed the ball into his own net in the 89th minute after a cross from Sotirhos and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

It should be mentioned that PAOK will play on Thursday in UEFA cup against the Ukrainian side Metalurg Donet. The match will be played at PAOK's turf, the Toumba stadium and there will be a big chance for Amir and Shikabala to feature in the match.,
