PAOK New Signings:

In addition to Egyptian youngster Shikabala, PAOK signed four new players this summer. They signed 18 year old midfielder Husein Mumin. A few days later, the club announced the signing of player of the Under 21 National Team of Greece Sotiris Balafas who joined the club for five years.

The club also signed the Under 19 goalkeeper of the National Team of Greece Konstantinos Paliouras and they also completed the signing of international Bosnian player Vladimir Karalic who signed a 4 year contract with PAOK.

PAOK to kick off new season versus Xanthi Skoda:

The Greek League's draw for the season 2005-2006 was made on Thursday 30/06/2005 and PAOK will kick off the new season away to Xanthi.

Amir and Shikabala start preseason preparations:

Amir looking to improve his physical fitness

On the first of July, both Amir and Shikabala started training with the rest of the team. Both players never attended preseason preparations with the club before as Amir joined PAOK in the middle of the previous season while Shikabala signed a few months later.

The preseason phase will be crucial for both players as Amir lacked physical fitness last season. The player excelled in most of the games that he participated in last season. However, his lack of physical fitness didn't enable him to play for the full 90 minutes every game and so, the player always came off in the 2nd half in all the games that he participated in.

Big hopes in Shikabala

PAOK fans are impressed by both Amir and Shikabala and they dream to see both players in a good physical shape next season.

Two days ago, particularly on Tuesday, 5th of July (at 09:30), PAOK departed for igadia, where the first stage of the pre-season training will take place. The players are going to remain there until the 16th of July, when a friendly game is programmed against Pierikos at the National Stadium of Katerini.
