The derby between PAOK and Panathinaikos, which everyone
in Greece had been anticipating in the last few days
ended with a totally fair draw. Amir Azmy played while
Shikabala watched his side from the stands for the first
time.

The Egyptian duo in Greece...
It was an excellent display from both teams, with
Greek international Papadopoulos opening the scoring
for the green side in 23rd minute.
But just two minutes later PAOK's captain Salpingides
let the celebrations start in a wonderfully washed with
colour Toumba Stadium, as he managed the equaliser.
Over 20,000 people had attended the game, and they saw
a fair 1-1 draw between the sides.
Amir Azmy had an excellent game till the 78th minute,
when he was replaced by Paris Andralas.

Megahed often made his way through the Panathinaikos defence,
causing numerous problems in the Athenian team's plans.
Apart from that, Egyptian football had another representative
in Thessaloniki, and that was Shikabala, who had the chance
to view his new team in action for the first time. On Monday
he will give an interview to a sports radio station in the
city.

Shikabala's comments...
